Thanksgiving has come and gone here in Canada. I actually cooked a turkey this year because of a request… and I was very surprised at how well it turned out. I usually like to cook roasts or something else because. Turkey is so time intensive. But I did some very simple and very yummy sides the day before and it all worked out nicely. The bonus was receiving some lovely sunflowers from my grandson. He planted the himself and he didn’t want the frost to get them first.
