After finishing Forest floor And thinking I might do better to actually do some flowers… for Fleur’s catalogue I started a new piece using small works I made a while back, coupled with some fabric collage and then stitched into the whole just as it came to me… not planning at all except just where my needle began each day and what it might stitch and with which yarn… I eventually decided that it would not be finished by the catalogue deadline so I relaxed and just kept it working over the Christmas holidays and finished this piece up in early January. It is whimsical and colourful and I love it. And You?
